Tracks
The walk takes place along the paths which lead to the mountain of the regional Natural Beigua Parc in a landscape full of emotions. The mountains overlook the sea with breathtaking views.
The area is one of the richest in biodiversity in the Liguria region. Thanks to its geographical position it is really a "bottle neck area", where the routes of many migratory birds converge such as the stork and many diurnal birds of prey, which during spring pass through these crests.
The medium tracks (15 km/18 km), with a change in height of about 715 m, lead to the Gava pass by unravelling among the crests where the "biancone" passes over during its migration from Africa to the nesting zones.
The longest trucks, 22 and 24 km, with a change in height of level of about 1091 e 1061 m s.l.m., lead to the watershed between the sea and the Padanian slope with breathtaking view. From up there your gaze sweeps from Corsica to the Alpine chains, to the maritime Alps.
Along the trucks are present many refreshment points where food and drinks are served. At the Gava Pass you can enjoy the "trenette al pesto", typical and tasteful Genoese dish. A thick network of volunteers coordinated by the civil defence and the Red Cross - Comitato locale di Arenzano - assicurano un'efficace assistenza sanitaria a tutti i partecipanti.
