Some events become part of a place’s identity, year after year. The Mare e Monti Walk is one of them: a longstanding event that brings thousands of people to discover Arenzano, with views over the coast, trails surrounded by greenery and moments of genuine connection. In 2026 it reaches an important milestone, its first forty years, and marks the occasion with something new. A special logo, created just for the event, that brings together its key symbols: the mountains, the greenery, the people walking together and the festive atmosphere.
Save the date for Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September. Two days to celebrate a walk that has become a symbol of outdoor sport, community and bringing the Arenzano area to life. An anniversary worth experiencing together, both for those who have taken part for years and for anyone discovering the event for the first time.
Born to encourage contact with nature and the simple pleasure of walking in good company, this non-competitive walk continues to welcome families, trekking enthusiasts and visitors of every age and nationalities. The routes wind through coast and inland, offering beautiful views in a festive, friendly atmosphere.
Forty years of history speak of commitment, passion and dedication. Behind every edition there are volunteers, associations and supporters who have helped the event grow into one of the most loved and recognisable appointments in Arenzano. It is thanks to them that the walk remains a living tradition today.
This year too, enthusiasm, nature and community spirit will run through it all, as they always have.
We look forward to seeing you on 12 and 13 September to celebrate this special anniversary together.
